Very good but you got to know how to navigate this place. There's a few different sections: dim sum, noodles or cafeteria style.Food is 4/5. I recommend.
Food is best you'll find in flushing
This place never fails to deliver. They have great food for reasonable prices, there no long wait even when the place is busy.
Bustling shop with various stations selling roast meats, Japanese, Chinese takeout and dim sum. Most people come for the roast meats - it’s tasty, and cheap, with freebies for larger spenders. Seating upstairs but it is terribly maintained.
all of the food in the photo was purchased for $5.75. amazing buns and bao. considering trekking back to flushing after work tomorrow because it was that good...
Buy dim sum on first floor, bring upstairs to eat there.
I meet with friends this nice place often! This is my favorite restaurant to grab a bite. I go to this spot at least once a month. The cooking is great, the workers are professional and the prices are reasonable. I like meeting in this restaurant for a rich supper.
Great Taiwanese cuisine. Open now in these whacky coronie times !!!
Great BBQ chicken, pork and ducks however they only speaks Chinese.
Good amount of food for cheap. If you're into cleanliness, this may not be the place for you.
This is a real Chinese restaurant for mostly local Chinese- tourist be warn! There’s 3 kinds of restaurant in this one location- 1st the BBQ stuff by the window (duck, pork, Soya chicken etc) Didn’t try any.2nd Prepared cook food in the back with 30+ items to choose from (didn’t try any)3rd Dimsums selections on the back left wall- got couple of dishes and was happy with the quality. Very cheat too.Bonus, the middle section also have a Peking duck with steam bun special of $1 a piece, get a few, they slice it right there for you. pretty good, not great. They also have seating area on the second food, it was a little messy, seems like nobody was cleaning up the table after customers eating there.Foe simple cheap eats this place is awesome, just realize this is for real Chinese people. You are welcome.
THE PLACE TO GO for authentic Chinese food! Very reasonable prices with so many different options. Especially if you’re looking for dim sum to go, this is where you want to be. Just be aware that it’s a tight space, so you need to be prominent to get through and served. But overall a great place if you’re looking for a dinner to go or a quick afternoon snack.
The duck and baby pig are terrific, but the noodles in the soup tasted like ammonia. Something is seriously wrong here..
The food is regularly well prepared and delicious, employees gives excellent customer service. I liked how clean it is and vibes. Worth a try.
First time trying the pecking duck bao, it tasted like putting a piece a roasted duck in a bao and thats it. Dont see the hype of it, but it cost only $1.25 ish , so i cant complain much
Full disclosure I only came here for the pecking duck, its only about a buck each and it comes in this soft dough like fold. It's a splendid combo of crispy sweet with a nice piece of delicious duck all in one. Make sure you get it to go though. My mother and sister waited for me in the upstairs sitting area and of course a homeless man started to get a little out of hand. I get it, it is New York but I'm just trying to chill and eat my pecking duck. 5 stars for the food 3 stars for the clientele. I mean what can you do. Above all if your are feeling peckish and in the NY Flushing area snag yourself a solid bite with some pecking duck from Corner 28
$1.25 delicious duck buns! I want to come back to sample their other food, which looked delicious.
Corner 28 is a small 2-story food court on the very busy 40th Rd., near Main St. in Flushing. The main stores include the Gold Medal BBQ, a 4 dish + soup shop, and a dim sum shop. Food is very reasonably priced and the selection is quite good. After getting your food, you can just grab one of the open tables on the second floor. One of the main advertisements for the second floor that it's tip free... well, most self-service places are tip free. Corner 28 is definitely our favorite place to grab a quick bite when we don't feel like cooking.
Duck bao for $1 each - and pretty damn tasty! That's all we tried in this crazy, bustling, cramped little market. Would go back for more, though!
Came here for just the Peking duck. It's hidden all the way in the back of the store. It's the very last stall where the variety foods are. The Peking duck buns sell at $1.25 each. The duck was fatty and tasty, the bun was fresh and hot, the sausage was sweet and savory. Not the greatest but not bad with at that price.
Most people go to New World Mall to eat but locals come to Corner 28 for authenticity. My favorite, the $1.25 duck boa buns! SO delicious. Dim sum is amazing here too. Nothing fancy here, just great food.
The duck bun was great for a dollar. Minimal meat but tasty (I could do without the hard to chew onions). I guess if I got there earlier the dumplings would have been better wrapper wise but the fillings were good.
Great variety and quality of food at a great price and the place itself has very chill vibes and I would honestly come here everyday if I could
Came for the $1.25 Peking Duck bao. Great value. The customer service was a little lacking.
Can't beat the price of the dim sum, HK BBQ, and pick 4 for $6.5 lunch box here.
There's plenty of authentic Chinese food spots in this "little china town", but this is my go to. They have it all. From soups to meats, to Boba drinks, to sushi. I always order to go, but there's an upstairs area to sit and enjoy that tourist experience. This place is CLEAN and that's a big deal for me compared to other similar spots. It's always crowded, but enough room to navigate to where you're heading to. You'll be lucky to get a parking on the block, so I usually find one a block away and walk it. Right off of main street and next to lirr stop.
This restaurant is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. when I I need a proper lunchon, this restaurant comes right away to my head. splendid and diverse food and a rich cuisine.trained team, and pleasant vibes. Not less important, the charge is reasonable. I suggest this place with pleasure.
Cheap delicious food for 5.75$!
Horrible service, the employee was rude, chicken is hard to chew. Wasted my money and time coming here, wish the reviews were genuine and would tell the truth. Won’t be coming back
Omg!! Thanks to a friend's recommendation I decided to come here for some peking duck buns and it's the best!! The peking duck buns only cost $1.25 each! It's so worth it and gets you full if you buy a lot! It's a great to go food! The also serve variety of dim sum dishes, noodles and rice!
A true gem in the sea of delicious food that is Flushing. The peking duck buns are a great way to get a taste of a typically pricey dish for very cheap
I love this restaurant! They offer delicious dishes, their menu is nice, The cook in that restaurant is an expert, I like a lot eating all their food. The food is always tasty, the attitude towards the guests is friendly. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.
Had to get some shrimp dumplings while in queens.
There's a variety of food from sushi to dim sum. It's good for a quick bite and even when it's busy you still get your food fast.
Good place for breakfast and lunch. A lot of kind of foods 😋😋😋
The cashiers are rude & inpolite, some english speaking customer that they did not understand, they just ordered some other items & not patience to ask what they really want.
I've been craving for duck buns for the past few days like a pregnant woman (which I'm not). So while running errands in downtown Main Street today, I decided to go get some at Corner 28. I used to buy them all the time here but haven't been back in a while. Glad to see that you can still get fairly inexpensive food here. I still remember when the duck buns costs $0.75! Now each bun costs $1.25 (still a bargain). I noticed that the buns themselves are no longer house made. Now they come from prepackaged containers. The duck is still very good though and exactly as I remembered them. Very juicy and crispy. The hoisin sauce they douse it in complements the duck and cuts through the fat nicely. While the restaurant is looking run down and not as clean as I remembered, it's still nice to have a place like this for quick affordable meals.
Excellent ambience and very attentive service. The menu was fresh and delicious. Will easily recommend this place to others. Convenient rates and large meals. Great job.
Nice place to try out some fast chinese food. In and out in less than 5 minutes for me and the meal was great.
buy 2 of these 3 meat combo (see picture) will get you some free bbq pork! One of my favorite places to get food in Flushing.
Amazing food. A little pricey but totally worth it
Amazing place to grab some basics: steamed dumplings (pork are the best). Try the Peking dumpling sandwich for only 1.25. Only food to go no eat in. Quality and prices here are guaranteed.
This restaurant is my preferred one. I visit plenty of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The team is very affectionate and the cooking they place on your table is so good. I am always happy to have a decent dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.
Don’t look the food as so good , Food is very dirty. You can get very sick from eating it like go to the hospital . I don’t recommend as a simple clean restaurant at all . Place is Nasty and bad
Good food, really fast service...get something to go and you are in and out
Easy to see right off of Prince Street servicing Flushing and the adjoining areas of Queens County. Parking on the Street is available but it fills up fast especially at night and on the weekends. Moderately clean facilities. No public Restroom. Counter service available. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.
Good for takeout Chinese good. Place is small and cramped and everything is piled on top of each other. Its get and go..
Inexpensive, but delicious dim sum, $1 duck bao with many Chinese dishes/desserts deli. However, upstairs seating is dirty and unattended.
No frills place. Tight quarters, packed with people; heat from the cooking; and lots of delicious food smells. They have good, fresh looking dim sum items, but I came here for the $1.25 tasty Peking duck bao. Although the skin wasn't crispy, they were delicious!
Good assorted Chinese good. Plenty of seating around.
